Critical Thinking - Guidelines and Tips

There are several key things to keep in mind when addressing an issue or question:

  1. Keep your own biases and tendencies of self-deception in mind.
  2. Make sure you are not letting the authority or status of someone else influence your thinking.
  3. Make sure you are not committing one of the fallacies which were discussed earlier.
  4. Seek humility. One of the surest signs of poor thinking is an attitude of certainty.
