Critical Thinking - Guidelines and Tips
There are several key things to keep in mind when addressing an issue or question:
- Keep your own biases and tendencies of self-deception in mind.
- Make sure you are not letting the authority or status of someone else influence your thinking.
- Make sure you are not committing one of the fallacies which were discussed earlier.
- Seek humility. One of the surest signs of poor thinking is an attitude of certainty.
