Information Evaluation

Finding information is just the beginning of your task. Once you have found it, you must answer the questions, "How valuable is this information?" "Is it trustworthy?" "Is it useful?" "Where does it come from?"

First, read Finding Reliable Information. It is an interesting excerpt from a book, Double Your Brain Power.

Second, read Evaluating Quality of Information and Web Sites. This is a summary of a lecture I give on the topic.

Third, read Web and Information Evaluation. This contains excerpts from some good articles I have run into. If you find something interesting on this topic, please let me know.
