
Bibliographic Notetaking Methods
The key to taking good bibliographic notes is to be sure that you are recording all the elements necessary for a good, complete citation. That means author, title, title of complete work, publication information, date of publication, pages, and URL. Elements may vary according to format, so the best approach is to fully understand the bibliographic style (usually APA or MLA) which you are using.
