The Independent Thinker is about innovative and critical thinking. Once you have learned critical thinking and people are no longer "pulling the wool over your eyes." And, more important, you are no longer lying to yourself.
Once you have learned innovative thinking, thinking outside the box, the next step is to look to yourself. You need to ask yourself some questions...
What do you want to accomplish?
What do YOU want to become?
What do you REALLY believe, deep down?
What is MOST important to you?
How do you get what you want?
The best way to explore these questions is to first listen to people who have specialized in answering these questions. You may laugh at the category of books called "self help." But, in fact, who is going to help you other than yourself?
So, look over these titles, read the reviews, then go to the library and check out the books that look like they will help you the most. The most important characteristic of these books is that they will get YOU to THINKING about your priorities and choices in life.
This is exciting stuff. Have fun!
