1. DISTENDED ABDOMEN - possible causes are "Gastrict dilatation-volvulus (GDV), an often fatal twisting of the stomach commonly known as bloat... [or] pyometra, an infection of the uterus... Other cuases: a ruptured tumor of the spleen and heart or liver failure...

2. PALE GUMS - are a 'sign of excessive blood loss, either internal or external... [or] ingestion of rat poison, autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA), bleeding from trauma, and ruptured spleen...
